- The Embassy issues entry visas to the UAE only to the Russian service passports holders (Note Verbal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is required), as well as to diplomats of the Embassies accredited to the Russian Federation (Note Verbal is required from the Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective country). You have to provide with a Note Verbal the following: two (2) completed application forms (please print the forms), color photo 3×4 (2), a copy of a passport (only pages with data) and a cover of a passport (please print in color).
- The citizens of the Russian Federation will be granted free of charge visas on arrival in the UAE. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE has announced relax visa regime for the Russian nationals starting from February 1, 2017. Russian citizens travelling to the UAE won’t need to pay any fees as well as no advance visa arrangements are required to visit the UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed the decree of the Government to issue the Russian citizens visas at the border points. This significant change in visa requirements highlights the interest of the UAE in development of strategic cooperation with Russia and aspiration of both countries for opening of new horizons in the field of economic cooperation and tourism promotion that contributes to mutual goals and interests.Visas will be granted free of charge upon arrival at all border posts of the UAE for 30 days stay. If you plan to stay longer, one time extension for another 30 days is available per for a fee.
- Citizens of the People’s Republic of China – holders of ordinary passports – can cross the territory of the United Arab Emirates by obtaining entry permit at the border crossing point to stay in the country for 30 (thirty) days with the possibility of further extension of the permit at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates for the next 30 (thirty) days per for a fee. This rule came into force on November 1, 2016.

On Saturday and Sunday as well as on official holidays in Russia and in the United Arab Emirates, the Embassy is closed. Friday and Saturday are not working days in the UAE.
